Cook grew up in Blue Springs, Missouri. Both parents are Beth (name gadisnya Frye) and Stan Cook. brother Cook, Andrew, is a graduate of primary school education from the University of Central Missouri, and sister-lakinya man, Adam, lives in Terre Haute, Indiana with his wife and children. Beth and Stan Cook divorce while still small, his mother married again and now it changed its name to become Beth Foraker, while his father moved to Indianapolis, Indian.
Interest in Cook to start the music since he was still small. He obtained the first gitarnya at the age of 2 years. She started singing in grade two, when the music teacher at his elementary school to give him the opportunity to sing solo in the school choir performance. He then appears in almost every Christmas and PTA program. He also participated in extracurricular choir and theater in junior high and high school. At Blue Springs South High School, he was appearing in the musical dramas, such as The Music Man, West Side Story, and Singin 'in the Rain.
He was also a skilled baseball player throughout high school. After losing interest in sports, it is better to concentrate on music. Then the University of Central Missouri gave him a scholarship in the field of theater, but he was out of the majors after two semesters, and moved to the graphic design department at the same university. He graduated in 2006. At university, he became a member of Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity. After graduating, he moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to pursue music career, after having said to his family, "I want to give time to myself to the age of 26 years for not looking for work (office worker).
theCook is the main vocalist and guitarist the band Axium from 1999 until 2006. He formed Axium in the first year in high school, along with drummer Bobby Kerr. One of the songs from the band, the "Hold", purchased AMC Theaters Movie Tunes and played before the film begins in cinemas, at 20.000 screen cinemas throughout the United States. Axium also dinobatkan as one of the 15 best independent band in the United States independent band contest in the "Got Milk?", and the band was also selected as the best band in Kansas City in 2004.
In 2006, after the fall Axium, Cook moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and joined with the Midwest Kings, a local band that is currently being toured, playing guitar, bass, and a background vocalist. He is recording a EP, Incoherent with Desire to Move On, with the band in 2006. He also worked as a Bartender at some local club Tulsa, including Blank Slate and Rehab Lounge.
